Job Title: Heavy Duty Diesel Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our mobile mining equipment.

About the Role:

  • Maintain and repair heavy duty diesel engines and associated systems on our fleet of mobile mining equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and component overhauls.
  • Diagnostics and repair of mechanical faults on large mining trucks, excavators, dozers, and graders.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship.

Requirements:

  • Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel trade qualification (Cert III Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience in mining or large-scale surface operations.
  • Strong experience with CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, or Liebherr mobile equipment.
  • Manual C Class Driver's Licence.
  • Able to pass a full pre-employment medical.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (mandatory).
