Your Key Responsibilities

  • Meal Service : Prepare, serve, and deliver appealing meals that meet our resident's needs with attention to detail and respect for their individual meal plans.
  • Resident Support : Assist residents during mealtimes with empathy and understanding, promoting a positive dining experience.
  • Hygiene & Cleanliness : Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness in kitchen areas, cooking equipment, and dining spaces, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Event Catering : Contribute to special events like birthdays, cultural celebrations, and internal meetings, showcasing your creativity and attention to detail.
  • Safety : Help maintain a safe and tidy environment in all dining and adjacent areas, free from hazards and risks.

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 6 months of relevant food service experience, with aged care experience being highly regarded.
  • A strong commitment to safety-first practices, with a focus on resident well-being.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills.
  • A collaborative and friendly team player attitude, with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • A professional and tidy personal appearance, with a keen eye for detail.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid working rights for Australia.
  • A successful police check completion.
  • A current Flu Vaccination (or willingness to get one).
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
