Work as a key member of our culinary team, providing exceptional customer service to our guests at Sydney International Lounges.

We are seeking an experienced Commis Chef to join our fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills in food preparation and presentation. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality service and maintaining the highest standards of kitchen safety and hygiene.

The role involves assisting in the preparation of ingredients, executing cooking techniques under senior chef guidance, and following established recipes for dish preparation and presentation. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and other team members to ensure seamless delivery of our menu offerings.

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • A Certificate IV in Cookery qualification
  • Previous experience in a luxury 5-star environment is highly regarded
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • MUST have full working rights within Australia
  • Ability to pass a federal police background security check
