Job Title:

Digital Xray & Image Guided Therapy Field Service Engineer

This role requires a customer-oriented individual to join our team in NSW North, working with Digital Xray and Image-Guided Therapy product portfolios. The successful candidate will service Newcastle, Hunter Region, Central Coast, and Northern Sydney suburbs.

About the Role:

The primary objective of this position is to maintain and develop robust customer relationships while providing expert technical advice on maintenance, installation, and servicing of medical equipment (software & hardware) in line with regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the organization to provide exceptional service, including corrective & preventive maintenance, commissioning & installation of equipment, and software & hardware upgrades.
  • Participate in the sales process and provide technical support throughout the customer relationship lifecycle.
  • Manage and support technical escalations to resolution, keeping stakeholders updated.
  • Provide technical support, maintenance, and repairs to minimize customer downtime, determining cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain knowledge through continual training and stay updated on new technologies.
  • Work reasonable additional hours outside business hours, including on-call support, due to critical equipment.
Your Qualifications:
  • A degree or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in customer-facing service engineering roles.
  • Familiarity with medical equipment like X-ray, IGT, or Angiography is desirable.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full Australian driver's license and Australian working rights.
  • Police checks will be required during onboarding.
