As part of the Budget and Finance Division, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on procurement policy and frameworks, administering common use contracts, minimising the cost of risk to government agencies, and supporting a range of stakeholders to achieve good outcomes.

Working in this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your stakeholder engagement capability and contribute to the improvement of procurement and contract management outcomes, consistent with the Government's policies and principles.

Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice on procurement policy and frameworks;
  • Administering common use contracts;
  • Minimising the cost of risk to government agencies;
  • SUPPORTING A RANGE OF STAKEHOLDERS TO ACHIEVE GOOD OUTCOMES;
  • Being involved in policy development that helps the Tasmanian Government achieve value for money in its procurement activities.
