Software Asset Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Asset Manager to play a pivotal role in driving our operational model. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising stakeholders on selecting and implementing approved solutions that meet our business needs, while minimising risk through robust asset and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Service Owners to track, facilitate, and optimise software and hardware contract renewals.
  • Advise on solutions to meet business requirements while ensuring procurement of only approved products.
  • Validate asset usage, meet financial requirements, and monitor lifecycle stages including End-of-Life, version management, and fleet size.
  • Work with technology teams to design and execute transition strategies for assets and contractual arrangements.
  • Identify licensing risks, non-compliance, and mitigation strategies through strong control mechanisms.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in software asset management, including direct dealings with software vendors. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consultative skills are essential for this role, as well as expertise in software and hardware asset management principles.
