Leading Data Engineering Team

We are seeking a talented leader to spearhead our high-performance data engineering team, driving performance, career development, and delivery.

  • The ideal candidate will own and deliver the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data platform.
  • They will architect platform components that scale across APAC and integrate globally.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders is key to prioritizing and achieving cross-team changes.

This role requires 7+ years of experience in delivering production platforms and 2+ years of leadership experience in software engineering teams.

A strong understanding of distributed systems, reliability fundamentals, and API/system design skills is essential.

The successful candidate will have expertise in one or more programming languages, including Python/C++/Java/Rust.

Data platform fundamentals, such as batch/stream processing, table formats, object storage, and SQL, are also crucial.

Experience with streaming and batch data (e.g., Kafka + Schema Registry) is a plus.
