About the Role

This is a software engineering position within our organization. The role involves designing and developing next-generation data platforms and pipeline solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development. Additionally, they should be familiar with distributed data processing using Python, SQL, Spark, and Scala.

The role also requires collaboration with engineering peers to co-create and contribute to shared practices and frameworks. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with stakeholders across the organization.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-focused, and passionate about building innovative data platforms. They should thrive in a collaborative environment and be committed to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions that address core business needs and reduce risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and developing next-generation data platforms and pipeline solutions
  • Building and maintaining backend services and integrations using Java Spring Boot
  • Collaborating with engineering peers to co-create and contribute to shared practices and frameworks
  • Applying modern coding standards to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions
  • Transforming and processing source data into data products and enabling egression to other platforms
  • Developing efficient Data Lake frameworks using Scala, PySpark, or Python
  • Creating reusable libraries and config-driven pipelines for enterprise-wide ingestion and integration
  • Ensuring compliance with data governance and security standards
Required Skills and Qualifications
