We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Finance Manager to join our team in Darwin. As a key member of our business banking division, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of small business and SME clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Credit Analysis: Evaluate credit worthiness with a risk focus, considering key risks, structural considerations or covenants, repayment, pricing for risk, and policy exceptions.
  • Business Lending: Originate and manage business lending between $500k to $3M, ensuring high-quality sales proposal documents and submissions.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with our business customers and act as a trusted advisor, collaborating with other Business Banking Managers to relationship manage a portfolio of medium enterprise (SME) clients.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in business banking, preferably in a similar role or with expertise in business finance management.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of the needs and opportunities for small to medium businesses, including challenges, trends, and the competitive and regulatory environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, or business administration.
