Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Risk & Security Manager to join our team at Westfield Kotara. This role involves leading the Centre's security and risk management operations, ensuring the safety and security of our employees, contractors, retailers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Proactively plan and deliver priorities from our Safety Framework, providing a safe and secure environment that exceeds customer expectations.">
  • Manage hazard identification, incidents, emergencies, near misses and claims, with proactive management and reporting.">
  • Oversee safety audits and inspection programs, as well as manage compliance with all security & health & safety policies, procedures, & practices at the Centre.">
  • Attend to Centre emergencies, ensuring risk and security staff and contractors are trained to deal with all emergencies.">
  • Develop strong relationships and work with local authorities to develop operational and emergency protocols.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • A strong background in security, risk management, and workplace health & safety.">
  • Solid experience in risk & security management in retail, property, hospitality, entertainment, leisure, or other services industry.">
  • The ability to mitigate & manage risk, manage incident response, and follow through with reporting, authority interaction, & assisting with insurance claims management.">
  • Experience & technical knowledge of CCTV & Access Control systems, & visitor & contractor management systems.">
