As a qualified occupational therapist, you will be joining a collaborative multidisciplinary team to provide personalized treatments to our clients in residential aged care settings.
The role involves offering innovative allied health services through Plena's Care Pathway. This pathway allows therapists to tailor therapy programs for residents based on their goals and priorities, delivering evidence-based mobility and functional programs, care plan reviews, one-to-one therapy interventions, and group active aging services.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide clinical recommendations to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, falls risk prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care, skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to the needs of our clients, working within the scope of the occupational therapy profession.
