About The Role
As an Occupational Therapist with Specialist Allied Health Co, you will play a key role in delivering life-cycle services to clients in Cairns and surrounding areas. You will work closely with allied health assistants and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement bespoke occupational therapy programs for clients.
- Your primary responsibility will be to assess, develop, deliver, and monitor occupational therapy programs for clients, ensuring their optimal functionality, community engagement, well-being, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
- You will have the opportunity to work in various settings, including office-based therapy, telehealth, and outreach to rural and remote communities, with all expenses paid.
- The successful candidate will receive employer support to become a Rural Generalist through the Rural Generalist Pathway in collaboration with James Cook University.
Location & Work Arrangement
Clients are located in Cairns and surrounding areas, with regular outreach to rural and remote communities for 3-4 days at a time.
Work as part of a team with Allied Health Assistants and OT's within the Outreach Communities.
Salary & Benefits Package
$110,000 Base + Super, plus comprehensive admin support and access to latest technology tools and CPD opportunities.
All work-related travel expenses are paid for.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must possess AHPRA accreditation as an Occupational Therapist and have experience working in similar roles.
