Aged Care Assistant

As a care provider, you will play a vital role in assisting residents with their daily activities such as showering and getting dressed. We want them to feel safe and at home in our facilities.
You will be working under the guidance of shift managers who will oversee your work and provide support when needed.
Key Responsibilities- Carefully read and follow care plans to ensure the best possible outcome for each resident.
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing and dressing.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all residents receive the best possible care.
- Treat residents and their families with respect and compassion.
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is required for this role.
- Initiative and ability to effectively prioritize and multitask are essential skills for this position.
- Great communication skills both verbally and written are necessary to ensure effective communication with residents, families and staff members.
- Attention to detail for good record keeping is also required.
