We are seeking a skilled Sales Executive to join our team at ValPay, a leading payment solutions platform in Australia. As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in our expanding payment solutions platform, specifically within the Food and Beverage industry.
Our ideal candidate will be a curious and empathetic individual who is motivated by meaningful work and resonates with our four core values. They will have a positive outlook, be comfortable with ambiguity, and thrive in an ever-evolving and complex environment.
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with small to medium-sized business owners, working closely with ValPay colleagues in Customer Service, Underwriting, IT, Sales Support, and other departments to onboard new business. You will manage your pipeline and day-to-day tasks/appointments using Salesforce, prepare presentations and proposals, educate merchants and business owners on the payment processing industry, and maintain regular communication with your sales leadership.
We are looking for a hunter mentality, professional demeanor, impeccable integrity, and a high sense of urgency. Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of business-to-business (B2B) outside sales experience, a valid current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. They will be able to work well independently and as part of a team, possess the ability to self-source leads through a combination of prospecting, cold-calling, and networking, and be a proactive, self-motivated learner with a strong drive to achieve personal goals.

The successful candidate will be based anywhere in Adelaide, Melbourne, or Brisbane, working in a hybrid work model from our offices.
