Job Opportunity: We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Technician to join our team in central Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to develop their careers in the fire protection industry.

  • This role involves testing, servicing and repairing fire protection systems across the region, working closely with commercial and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, service and repair fire protection safety systems and equipment.
  • Complete maintenance records using handheld technology and provide evidence of work performed.
  • Participate in stock takes and manage inventory.
  • Compile reports on job activities and customer premises surveys.
  • Recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment based on customer needs.

About You:

  • Must have experience as a qualified Sprinkler Fitter with special hazards, working in the Fire Protection Industry with relevant licenses.
  • Hold up-to-date product knowledge and understanding of industry standards.
  • Able to survey customer premises and identify required solutions.
  • Skilled in completing company, industry and occupational training and accreditation.
  • Proficient in using field service information technology applications.
  • Flexible roster, including 7/7 shifts.
