Are you a skilled fire safety professional looking for a new challenge? This role is perfect for someone who wants to work with a leading provider of fire safety solutions. We are seeking a qualified Sprinkler Fitter/Mechanical Technician to join our team in the central Queensland region.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and servicing fire protection systems, delivering excellence while exceeding customer expectations.
  • This role involves working with commercial and industrial clients across the Central Qld Region.

About The Job:

  • IDentify, service and repair fire protection safety systems and equipment
  • Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on equipment using handheld technology
  • Participate in stock takes and be responsible for inventory management
  • Complete reports
  • Survey customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment

About You:

  • You must have experience as a qualified Sprinkler Fitter with special hazards working in the Fire Protection Industry with a QBCC license
  • Up-to-date product and industry knowledge is essential
  • A sound understanding of Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment is required
  • Technical or engineering competency with ability to complete company, industry and occupational training and accreditation
  • Great attitude and willingness to deliver high standard of work for our client base
  • Able to use field service information technology applications to complete service job cards
  • Willinngness to work 7 days a week
