Forensic mental health services require a unique blend of clinical and forensic expertise. As a Pyschologist Grade 2, you will be working with female offenders experiencing mental illness in a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include providing psychological services and advice on patient management and treatment, conducting assessments and reports, and contributing to risk assessment and management.

The role also involves contributing to clinical practice and program development, ensuring evidence-based interventions are implemented effectively.

Applicants should have previous working experience in a mental health facility or forensic mental health service, along with knowledge in clinical forensic psychology and clinical neuropsychology.

Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited course or equivalent
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA)
  • Ability to register qualifications on eCredential

Experience working with female offenders, including those with personality disorders, is highly regarded.
