Administrative Support Role

We are seeking an administrative professional to join our multidisciplinary team in a forensic mental health setting. The successful candidate will provide essential support to clinicians and other stakeholders, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient health records and information, adhering to relevant policies and guidelines
  • Assist with patient registration, admission, and discharge processes, maintaining accurate data entry
  • Maintain patient lists and ensure timely completion of documentation for admissions, transfers, and separations
  • Manage the medical record tracking system and request medical records as needed
  • Attend and document unit meetings, distributing minutes post-approval
  • Scan forms and reports into JCare as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience providing administrative assistance in health or mental health settings
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Working knowledge of RAPID (mental health database)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to interact professionally and sensitively with patients
