We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional to join our team at WSP Global Inc. as a Regional HSE Manager for South Australia and Northern Territory. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your leadership skills and HSE expertise to develop and maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of a systems approach to HSE, providing accurate and timely HSE advice to support business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with key influencers, including people leaders and project managers/directors, to foster and monitor a positive HSE culture.
  • Develop and implement HSE risk management processes, facilitating their implementation and maintenance.
  • Monitor and measure HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Investigate and analyze incidents and nonconformities, implementing processes to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collect and manage relevant HSE information, ensuring a positive HSE outcome.
  • Communicate and engage with stakeholders to mitigate risk and optimize worker health and safety and environmental performance.
  • Manage injury/illness and claims management.
  • Lead others in the delivery of HSE services.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Qualifications:

  • Cert IV/Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Tertiary qualification in HSE (desirable).
  • Experience in Return to Work Co-ordination.

  • Previous experience in a similar industry and/or risk profile.
  • In-depth experience in an HSE role.
