Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Works Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage resources, and ensure compliance with our Road Management Plan (RMP) and Road Maintenance Service Level Agreements (RMSLA).

About the Role

This key position requires a proactive and results-driven individual who can lead and coordinate works crews and asset inspection officers. The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating people, plant, and materials to achieve program requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supervision and Resource Management: Lead and coordinate works crews and asset inspection officers, ensuring all projects are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect and audit completed works to ensure they meet quality standards and are compliant with all specifications and agreements.
  • Customer Service: Respond to and resolve customer complaints and requests related to infrastructure maintenance.
  • Safety and Compliance: Actively promote a safe working environment and ensure the team adheres to all health and safety policies and procedures.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Leadership: Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of road maintenance, construction, and asset inspection processes.
  • Safety Focus: A firm commitment to and knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) principles.
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and address challenges that impact team efficiency and performance.
