Career Opportunity for Impactful Disability Employment Services

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in people's lives.
As a Disability Employment Services (DES) Coach, you will work closely with participants to identify their skills and potential barriers to employment. You will then develop tailored employment plans to help them achieve their goals.
Our DES Coaches play a critical role in helping people with disabilities achieve their employment goals.
Key activities include:
- Market participants to employers to secure sustainable employment outcomes
- Ensure timely referrals to employment opportunities, vocational training, employment activities, and non-vocational programs
- Develop and maintain professional knowledge of areas including the Disability Employment Services Contract, local labour market, and local support services
- Provide thorough Post Placement Support to employers and participants
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication skills with well-developed verbal and written skills
- Self-motivation and initiative with well-developed organisational skills
- Interpersonal, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills
- Previous experience in the Disability Employment Services Industry is desirable
