Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics and strategy, with the ability to develop and implement effective data solutions that drive business growth.

This role is a 24 month contract and can be based remotely in NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, TAS or ACT.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of OFX's business and data requirements, working closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Create and maintain accurate and timely data reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven strategies that drive business outcomes.
  • Design and implement effective data governance frameworks to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in data science and machine learning techniques, applying them to real-world problems to drive business value.
  • Maintain and improve existing data architecture and infrastructure to ensure scalability and performance.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to inform strategic decisions.
Essential Skills
  • Proven experience in data analytics and strategy; preferably in the finance sector.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Able to think critically and strategically, with a focus on delivering business outcomes.
