Payroll Expert Wanted

Our ideal candidate is a highly organized and proactive Payroll Officer who excels at managing end-to-end payroll cycles.

You will take full ownership of our payroll function, acting as the bridge between People, Legal, and Finance teams.

This role offers autonomy, a clear remit, and space to refine and improve processes as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance across jurisdictions and manage statutory reporting requirements
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and international providers to streamline payroll operations
  • Onboard new employees seamlessly and ensure a smooth employee experience
Requirements

We are looking for someone with 4-5 years' experience in end-to-end payroll processing, preferably in a retail environment.

Key Skills:

  • Practical understanding of GRIA interpretation and managed payroll across multiple entities
  • Highly autonomous with excellent cross-functional skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Proactive and organized with strong attention to detail
Work Environment

This is a Melbourne-based role with a hybrid structure, ideally in-office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
