The role involves managing and running the Commercial team to deliver cost management services across multiple projects in the Commercial and Industrial sectors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Working effectively as part of a cost management team to ensure all deliverables are met.
  • Performing cost planning and cost estimating duties.
  • Measuring quantities based on design drawings.
  • Providing pre-contract cost planning services during design stages of projects.
  • Integrating with full cost management and project management teams in Queensland and supporting when required.
  • Working independently and taking responsibility for deliverables.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A recognised degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (desired).
  • MAIQS / MRICS certification (advantageous).
  • Consultancy environment work experience (desirable).
  • Proficiency in the use of CostX.
  • Attention to detail, strong time management skills, quick thinking, and resilience to deal with a fast-paced environment.
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English, with excellent report and bid writing skills.
  • Motivation and a passion for delivering results to clients, with the ability to work independently.
  • Local project experience is desirable.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
