About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Sparrow Early Learning Centre in Upper Coomera. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality educational programs for children aged 3-5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of children aged 3-5 years
  • Work in partnership with the leadership team to plan and deliver programs that promote children's learning and development
  • Conduct observations and assessments to inform program planning and ensure children's individual needs are met
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and high-quality educational program
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a smooth transition of children into and out of the program

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or equivalent
  • High-level knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current and valid Working with Children check
  • First Aid and CPR certificates, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Experience working with children with a range of abilities and interests
