About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Sparrow Early Learning Eagleby. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality educational programs for children in a long day care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement funded kindergarten programs that meet the needs of children and align with the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Work collaboratively with the leadership team to plan and deliver a rich and diverse educational program, including community excursions and in-house incursions.
  • Provide a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment that promotes the physical, social, and emotional development of children.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community to ensure a sense of belonging and connection.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or equivalent qualification.
  • High-level knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Current and valid Working with Children check.
  • First Aid and CPR certificates, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
  • Experience working with children with a range of abilities and interests.
