About the Role

The Employment Pathways Manager is responsible for leading a team of employment facilitators in delivering high-quality customer service to refugees and asylum seekers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Motivating and managing a team to deliver excellent customer service
  • Interacting with job seekers to create individualised employment pathway plans
  • Liaising regularly with employers, government departments, and managing community relationships
  • Monitoring KPI targets and showing empathy to clients
  • Carrying a small caseload and assisting with post-placement support activities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong understanding of local, state, and national labour markets
  • Proven business growth skills and excellent communication skills
  • Desirable experience working in employment services or complementary sectors, with an understanding of refugee employment in Australia
