Job Overview

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee and improve last-mile transportation carrier management, including operations excellence, performance management, escalations, carrier relationships and contract negotiations.
  • Identify, analyze and lead network improvement initiatives for existing and new logistics solutions with cross-functional stakeholders, optimizing for capacity, quality, speed, delivery experience, concessions and cost over the long term.
  • Generate and review relevant transportation metrics, driving improvements and automation over time.
  • Prepare and lead operations calls, business reviews and customer service workshops as needed.
  • Coordinate and communicate transportation planning and forecasts with carriers to ensure sufficient capacity.
  • Support daily operational activities and large, complex cross-functional projects.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to improve customer experience in Last Mile.
  • Review and manage transportation escalations, identifying and implementing corrective actions where required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of program or project management experience.
  • At least 3 years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience.
  • At least 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLookUps, and SQL knowledge.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
  • At least 3 years of driving process improvements experience.
  • Stakeholder management experience, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  • Experience building processes, project management and schedules.
