
Site Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Planner to manage the planning and coordination of electrical and mechanical installation activities across the site.
- Develop and maintain a detailed site baseline schedule in Primavera P6 for all field installation activities, ensuring seamless integration with overall project milestones.
- Apply resource and cost loading to support cost-to-complete forecasting, promoting accurate budgeting and financial management.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align deliverables with project objectives, fostering collaborative relationships and open communication.
- Maintain real-time updates of the site schedule, ensuring alignment with the overall master schedule and client programme, and proactively addressing any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
- Monitor progress against plan and track interface milestones (civil works, logistics, subcontractors), providing timely and actionable insights to inform decision-making.
- Validate subcontractor progress reports and integrate updates into the schedule, maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date record of project activity.
- Highlight and manage critical path risks; monitor float and buffer consumption, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize delays and ensure project delivery on time.
- Propose mitigations, recovery strategies, and acceleration measures where required, demonstrating a proactive and solution-focused approach to project management.
- Support daily and weekly look-ahead planning with the delivery and field teams, promoting a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Promote a schedule-driven culture on site, partnering closely with project and field supervisors to ensure effective implementation and successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Project Management certification or postgraduate qualifications (e.g. MBA, PMP) are highly desirable.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in construction scheduling and planning, with at least 5 years in a lead capacity, driving results-oriented projects and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Strong background in large-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects, with expertise in complex project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, with experience using Power BI, SAP familiarity is a bonus.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, commissioning, and interface coordination, with a focus on delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.
