Job Overview

As a Construction Site Manager, you will oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure timely project delivery.

Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating site activities, monitoring project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Liaise with project managers and engineers to resolve on-site issues and maintain workflow.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising and coordinating site activities, subcontractors, and tradespeople.
  • Monitoring project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with WHS (Work Health and Safety) regulations and company policies.
  • Interpreting and implementing construction plans, specifications, and drawings.
  • Liaising with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Conducting site inspections and preparing progress reports.
  • Managing site resources, including materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Resolving on-site issues and providing practical solutions to maintain workflow.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a site supervisory role within the construction industry.
  • Sound knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Current White Card and valid driver's license.
  • Experience with residential and commercial construction projects.
  • Familiarity with project management software and digital site tools.
  • Ability to foster a positive and productive site culture.
