This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated mental health and wellbeing leader to support frontline healthcare professionals across South Western Sydney Local Health District.
The role involves leading a team responsible for delivering employee assistance programs, staff counselling and wellbeing strategies, and interventions.
You will be responsible for providing strategic direction, developing responsive services, and ensuring high-quality delivery in a decentralised model.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development and operationalisation of staff wellbeing initiatives and interventions.
- Delivering contemporary services to meet organisational needs and support positive workplace culture.
About the Team:
The Manager, Staff Wellbeing and Support Service leads a collaborative team providing psychological health and wellbeing initiatives and interventions to diverse clinical and non-clinical staff.
You will engage with staff facing stress, burnout, grief, trauma, and workplace conflict, and develop proactive strategies to support their wellbeing.
Requirements:To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong leadership and strategic direction skills.
- Experience in developing and operationalising staff wellbeing initiatives.
- Ability to work in a decentralised model, ensuring consistent and responsive service delivery.
Liverpool Hospital Eastern Campus is part of the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct, focusing on education, research, and specialised healthcare services.
The campus includes conference facilities, seminar rooms, and a computer room, providing a hub for medical education and professional development.
