Chemistry Innovation Role

We are seeking a skilled chemistry professional to develop essential oil blends and personal care products that meet customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop product concepts based on customer needs and market trends.
  • Create essential oil blends and aromatherapy products with consideration for usage and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare prototype products for quality control and customer evaluation.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and issue work instructions as needed.
  • Manage data entry for raw materials and finished products.
  • Scale up pilot production and supervise initial manufacturing.
  • Presentation of products to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure laboratory and library facilities are well-maintained.
  • Stay up-to-date on scientific information related to essential oils and vegetable oils.
  • Representation at industry events.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Tertiary qualification in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • Experience in laboratory, manufacturing, or R&D in a related field.
  • Familiarity with the personal care, aromatherapy, and fragrance industries is an advantage.
