Appian Architect/Developer Role Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Design & Development: Architect and develop scalable, efficient applications using Appian's SAIL, Process Modeler, and Appian Sites.
  • Integration: Implement integrations with external systems using RESTful APIs, Web Services, and other integration methods.
  • Automation: Utilize Appian's RPA and AI capabilities to automate business processes and enhance application functionality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Technical Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Appian BPM Suite: SAIL, Process Modeler, and Appian Sites.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Appian integration objects.
  • Familiarity with Appian RPA and AI capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and querying.
  • Understanding of Appian best practices, design patterns, and performance optimization techniques.
Experience Levels:
  • Architect: 7+ years of experience in Appian architecture, design, and development. Proven leadership in managing large-scale Appian projects.
  • Lead Developer: 5+ years of Appian development experience with a focus on solution design, code reviews, and team mentorship.
  • Senior Developer: 3+ years of hands-on Appian development experience, including process modeling and integration.
  • Developer: 2+ years of experience in Appian development, with a solid understanding of Appian best practices and development tools.
