Job Title: Data Management Professional

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled data management professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our data governance frameworks.

  • Implementing data governance frameworks and ensuring data quality and integrity
  • Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for new projects and ensuring compliance with the Privacy Act and Australian Privacy Principles (APPs)
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with data privacy and the responsible use of AI
Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures for data governance and privacy
  • Collaborating with teams across the business to embed a 'Privacy-by-Design' culture and contribute to training programs
  • Providing guidance and support on data management principles, including data quality and lifecycle management
Qualifications and Experience
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in data privacy, data governance, or technology risk
  • Strong understanding of the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles (APPs)
  • Hands-on experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into practical advice
  • Understanding of data management principles, including data quality and lifecycle management
  • Experience working within the media, entertainment, advertising, or technology industries
