A Part-Time Opportunity
We currently have an outstanding part-time opportunity for a Security Officer to provide excellent customer service and emergency response at our site in Buranda. This role offers award-based rates and additional allowances such as First Aid allowances where applicable. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level security and customer service duties.
- Guard, patrol, monitor, and control assigned premises.
- Respond to emergencies, alarm events, calls for assistance, and provide necessary support.
- Assess and respond to situations of risk.
- Manage access control.
- Write incident reports and maintain data logs.
Roster and Benefits
This is a part-time roster designed to suit the perfect work-life balance. You will commit to the following schedule:
Monday – 13:30 – 21:00
Tuesday – 06:30 – 13:30
Wednesday – 13:30 – 21:00
You will be rewarded with competitive pay rates, including $26.22 – $28.78 per hour + super, depending on Level, plus a weekly First Aid allowance of $35.22 if applicable. You will also enjoy free onsite parking, Saturday rate starting from $39.33 per hour, Sunday & overtime rate starting from $52.44 per hour, and Public holiday rate starting from $65.55 per hour.

Requirements
- Hold a current QLD Security Licence with a Crowd Controller component.
- Possess a First Aid certificate.
- Demonstrate impeccable presentation.
- Show flexibility to work rotating rosters, including nights and weekends.
- Exhibit great communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Display ability to work as part of a team.
- Present yourself professionally with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
