Claims Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Officer to join our team at RACQ. As a Claims Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and feedback promptly, offering accurate information, and resolving complaints professionally.
You will build trust and maintain relationships with customers and their representatives, handle inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, and process claims accurately and efficiently.
Our ideal candidate will have previous contact centre experience, preferably in claims management or case management. Insurance experience is a plus, but not required. Knowledge of the claims process is beneficial, and a passion for supporting the community in tough times is essential.
About You- You will be committed to Queensland's resilience during weather events and able to work on a Mon-Sun rotating roster.
- You will be ready to learn and train in the ever-changing insurance space.
- You will have a strong commitment to helping Queenslanders during tough times.
- You will have the opportunity to work on a 6 month temporary contract with the possibility of extension or permanency.
- You will receive a competitive salary of $35.88/hour + Superannuation.
- You will participate in a comprehensive 4 week training program (in office, 8am -4pm).
- You will have the option to work from home 4 days a week and 1 day in office.
- You will have access to our in-house Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
- You will have the opportunity to progress and transition to different areas of the business.
