Claims Officer

Talentpath is seeking an experienced Claims Officer to join our team in Eight Mile Plains. As a Claims Officer, you will play a critical role in providing responsive and proactive claims management services to our members and third parties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and feedback promptly
- Offering accurate information and resolving complaints professionally
- Building trust and maintaining relationships with customers and their representatives
- Handling inquiries via phone, email, and live chat
- Processing claims accurately and efficiently
- Staying informed on company policies and procedures
- Working with internal teams to resolve issues
About You:
- Previous contact centre experience is desired
- Previous experience in claims management or case management is desired
- Insurance experience is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of the claims process is beneficial
- Passion for supporting the community in tough times
- Committed to Queensland's resilience during weather events
- Able to work on a Mon-Sun rotating roster
- Ready to join a temporary workforce and contribute to working with established claims teams
- Willing to learn and train in the ever-changing insurance space
About the Role:
- Hybrid working arrangement once signed off on the role - 4 days WFH/1 day in office
