Anatomical Pathology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Specialist to join our team at the Department of Health, Tasmania. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional pathology services to general practitioners, specialists, and private hospitals in Northern Tasmania.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a medical professional to utilize their expertise in delivering high-quality diagnostic services to Launceston General Hospital and surrounding regions.
The key responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive diagnostic services to meet the needs of patients and healthcare providers.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Supporting the health and wellbeing of the Tasmanian community through quality pathology services.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty. Experience in Cytopathology procedures is desirable.
