As a Production Manager, you will have the opportunity to drive operational excellence and lead a team to achieve production targets.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional who can identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to streamline production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboard and train new team members, including Undermanagers, Deputies, Operators, etc.
  • Manage oversight of the longwall, development and outbye areas.
  • Develop and implement operating systems that meet site production requirements.
  • Lead performance planning and management aligned to production targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support production delivery.
  • Drive performance across the operation by implementing process improvements.
  • Ensure employees in Production are competent and motivated to perform their roles efficiently.
  • Review and improve processes to maintain consistent quality systems and superior performance practices.
Requirements
  • NSW Undermanager Certificate of Competency and Practising Certificate or tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering field.
  • Solid knowledge of underground mining processes and practical experience with mining equipment.
  • Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to meet production objectives.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
