About the Role

This challenging position will see you lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver engineering services for mine waste management, ensuring successful outcomes across scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, shaping the direction of our Mine Tailings project portfolio in Australia.

  • Deliver a program of projects for key clients through management of stakeholders and contractors.
  • Manage work programs to deliver engineering services with respect to mine waste management.
  • Support multiple concurrent projects across the entire life cycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling, and risk management.
  • Lead the design of tailings storage facilities and other earthen structures from conceptual through to delivery stages.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking a seasoned project leader with a strong background working on tailings and civil projects. You should thrive in fast-paced environments and complex stakeholder landscapes.

  • Bachelor degree in Civil/Mining Engineering or project management qualifications are desirable.
  • Proven project management experience including managing multiple coinciding programs with internal and external stakeholders with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A background working on tailings, water, and civil projects ideally within a consulting environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presentations, and client interactions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary project teams.
