Job Opportunity

A highly skilled Mine Planning Engineer is required to contribute to the development of short- and medium-term mine plans aligned to production targets. The role involves delivering mine plans that meet production targets, including stope designs, development layouts, and project planning activities.

This position requires a strong understanding of geotechnical, ventilation, survey, and production engineering principles. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and contribute to continuous improvement of planning standards and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and reliable mine plans.
  • Generate approvals, stope notes, and support long-term operational planning.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure effective mine planning and operations.
  • Contribute to process improvements and optimize mine planning processes.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mining Engineering or relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Deswik mine design software and Ventsim.
  • Knowledge of Australian mining safety regulations and standards.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Passion for underground mining.
