Workforce Planning Specialist

Horizon One Recruitment is seeking an experienced Workforce Planning Specialist to join our client's team. As a key member of the Organisational Development department, you will play a critical role in driving the organisation's workforce planning efforts during a critical time.
About the RoleAs an EL1 Workforce Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the creation and execution of strategic workforce plans that address immediate and future business needs. You will work closely with senior leaders to guide scenario planning, workforce forecasting, and strategic workforce development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of forward-thinking workforce strategies that align with long-term organisational goals.

- Provide high-level advice based on data-driven insights, ensuring alignment between workforce capability and organisational goals.
- Act as the primary liaison for key stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring that workforce strategies are integrated across the organisation.
The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced workforce planner with demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and workforce analytics within the public service. You will have a proven ability to create long-term workforce strategies that meet both immediate and future organisational requirements.
Your communication and influencing skills will be critical in engaging with senior leaders and driving workforce initiatives. You excel at delivering clear, data-driven insights and providing actionable recommendations. Additionally, you will have the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships, resolve conflicts, and negotiate outcomes to ensure that all parties are aligned and committed to the overall workforce strategy.
What We OfferHorizon One Recruitment offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120k - $140k + Super. This is a 6-12 month non-ongoing opportunity.
