Job Title: Detainee Services Officer

As a residential role based on Christmas Island, this position requires flexibility and adaptability.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated high levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.

  • A sound fitness level is also required.

  • A natural ability to influence and negotiate in challenging situations, along with a high level of resilience, is also necessary.

  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Please note that this role requires a thorough probity assessment, including a Federal police check, as an essential selection component. Additionally, employees in this role will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our people.
