The role of Detainee Services Officer involves ensuring the safety, security and dignity of detainees in our care.
About You- We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic.

- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, along with the ability to think on your feet, are crucial for effective collaboration with colleagues.

Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for detainees.
- Providing support and guidance to detainees to promote their dignity and well-being.
- Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a respectful and secure environment.
- Participating in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
This residential role is based on Christmas Island, requiring a period of up to 6 months on the island. In return, accommodation, meals and transport to and from the centre will be provided free of charge.
