About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Product Design Director to lead our product design team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive the development of our platform products and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product design with significant experience in leading teams and developing innovative design solutions. They will be able to navigate ambiguity, explore complex problems, and identify insights to turn them into simple yet impactful solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing an in-depth understanding of domain knowledge across platform products.
  • Owning strategic design projects that shape key customer experiences.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and develop innovative design solutions.
  • Navigating through ambiguity and exploring complex problems.
  • Leading a team of product designers and providing mentorship to help them grow their skills.
  • Overseeing the end-to-end user experience designs of the team.

Candidates should have 8+ years of experience as a UX/Product designer, including 4+ years in a leadership role managing designers. Experience working in fast-paced tech start-ups is essential. Strong product logic & first principle thinking, ability to thrive in ambiguous project contexts, solid track record of project management and delivery, outcome-oriented, and analytical and user-focused are also required.

A robust portfolio showcasing project experience with both UI and UX design for responsive web platforms and app experiences is necessary. Expertise with design tools like Figma with strong visual design sensibility and expertise with growing Design Systems with complicated, cross-domain components are also essential. Master communication skills to articulate design rationale and sell ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders are must-haves.
