Cloud Architect Position Overview

This role involves designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions for a major financial institution in Melbourne, Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Educate teams on the value of AWS Cloud and participate in architectural discussions to ensure successful deployment.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of AWS services, design, and build requirements.
  • Own technical engagements and ensure timely and successful delivery of value.
  • Evaluate and provide expert AWS Technology solutions.

Requirements:

  • Strong software development background.
  • Demonstrated history of creating scalable AWS designs and best practices.
  • Hands-on ability and knowledge in Kubernetes and associated solutions.
  • Proficient knowledge of DevOps tools and practices like Terraform, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and AWS code pipelines/Codecommit.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and supporting technology.
