Senior Civil Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer to lead our team in delivering exceptional consulting services.

Job Description:

The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for technical design and communication of the company's consulting functions. This position also oversees other Civil Engineers in the execution and communication of design and consultation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure eligibility for registration with relevant engineering authorities within the designated areas of practice.
  2. Maintain registration on national registers.
  3. Comply with applicable professional registration acts.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience in mentoring a professional team. You should have knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations. A minimum of three years in a similar role, with significant experience in civil engineering, is also required.

  • Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex activities and/or information to improve existing practices or develop new approaches.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing processes, policies and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication and correspondence with diverse groups.
  • A strong client service focus, with the ability to formulate suitable outcomes when necessary.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills, along with the initiative to make decisions.
  • Able to work autonomously and effectively without supervision.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to support and mentor employees to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills to effectively manage work, determine priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • A strong team focus, with the ability to actively listen to others and positively contribute to a productive team environment.
  • An intermediate level of competency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
