\Job Description Overview:

This senior engineering role is responsible for leading technical design initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders. The position involves supervising a team of engineers in the execution and communication of design and consultation services.

\Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Demonstrated eligibility for professional registration with Engineers Australia within the structural and civil areas of practice.
  2. Registration on the National Engineers Register.
  3. Compliance with the Professional Engineers Registration Act 2019 (Vic).
\Essential Experience and Skills:
  • Leadership experience, particularly in mentoring professionals.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a similar role, with significant expertise in structural and civil engineering.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex information to improve existing practices or develop new approaches.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Client service focus and ability to formulate suitable outcomes.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with initiative to make decisions.
  • Autonomy and ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Leadership skills and ability to support and mentor employees.
  • Planning and organisational skills to manage work, determine priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate level of competency with Microsoft applications.
