Equipment Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer to join our team. This is a dynamic role that involves designing outfitting systems for various applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop outfitting systems including compartment arrangements, structural closures, fire protection, deck arrangements, equipment arrangements, ladders/platforms, cargo handling systems, minor foundations, mooring and anchoring systems, coating preservation and deck coverings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and coordinate engineering projects from concept to delivery.
  • Develop technical documentation and deliver reports to customer standards.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in producing clear and well-presented reports.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and ship platform systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD/3D software and project management tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
