Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Regional Emergency Solutions Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating urgent cargo transportation across various commodities, serving multiple industrial verticals.

The primary mode of transport will be airfreight, requiring seamless integration with pre-carriage and on-forwarding solutions. The ideal candidate must ensure timely quotation, pick up, delivery, and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

The focused products will be NFO - Next Flight Out, OBC – On Board Courier, and SCH – Small Charter Solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Time-Critical Airfreight Shipments: Ensure the seamless execution of shipments from initial booking to final delivery, maintaining strict adherence to timelines and client specifications.
  • Shipment Tracking: Continuously track the status of all active shipments to provide real-time updates and proactively identify occurring issues during the transport chain.
  • Customer Support: Act as the primary point of contact for customers and prepare and verify all necessary shipping documents.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with countries and branches, despite working in a regional function.
Requirements
  • Airfreight Operations: Highly skilled & experienced in airfreight operations.
  • Logistics Knowledge: Strong understanding of logistics, pricing structures, and market dynamics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Capable of resolving issues and challenges quickly and efficiently.
  • Motivation: Exhibits a high level of self-motivation and takes initiative to meet and exceed job expectations.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented, able to multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent organizational skills and able to interact positively and effectively with co-workers, subordinates, and supervisors.
Technical Requirements
  • CargoWise: Proficient in using CargoWise for freight forwarding operations & financial entries.
  • Webcargonet: Proficient in using Webcargonet.
Education and Experience
  • Operational Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of operational airfreight experience.
